How about we break the nonGaming items out of the Potluck area and give them their own master forum like we did with the novels? The Archive area of the site has always wanted to describe those items in their own area separate from gaming.

Something like this..

nonGaming TSR/Licensed -> St. Regis (or other publisher or series) -> Binder (or specified threads for each binder)

That way, it will keep us from crowding several different items under one thread and make it easier to find and discuss individual items.

Gaming items like Quadrille could go like this....

D&D -> Licensed -> St Regis Press Quadrille Graph Paper (1982) (in its own thread for ease of location and discussion)

I think a better title for that material would be TSR Merchandising, but the idea sounds fine.

Agreed.

I just found a whole fistful of Bohemian Earspoons that I had forget I had. Embarassed (see BES thread in the Press Archivist) Embarassed

After I do them up between tonight and tomorrow, I'll see about re-organizing.

I added a bunch of zines. Imagine, bohemian, Players Association Broadsheet, Players Association News, Fantasy Worlds, Forgotten Realms Newsletter, Game World, TSR Worlds, Legends of the Lance. Discovered information about Hobby Newsletter (TSR UK) which is the predecessor to the whole UK TSR zines.

I also pushed all of the TSR Licensed content into the new TSR Merchandise master forum. Sorry I did not sort the old content out yet. Which will mean splitting threads, etc. Try to get around to it soon.

for your info: i stopped for a while the work in progress in the italian rpg section and started feeding the TSR Italy section with all the official products which were published for D&D... (i have nothing about AD&D due to a specific reason: in italy we mainly had the revised edition of AD&D... a part for the 3 corebook i dont remember anything else referred to 1st ed)

We should also think about leaving locked cross-linking posts in case when an item or publisher could be posted under different sections. Not all users come in via the "search function", many do browse the register and don't even know that the publisher is "St. Regis", they are probably just looking for that "weird D&D pad" in the D&D section.

I've added most of my TSR catalogs now - will get to the WotC ones later.

A couple of points that could be verified are:

1) For the 20 year anniversary book:
http://www.tomeoftreasures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4117

Can anyone verify this was an employee only book?

2) Worlds of TSR book (not the commercial product):
http://www.tomeoftreasures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4114

Anyone else have one of these or even seen one?

I think I picked this one up from the Sue Cook auctions but haven't seen another one. I'm not sure if it was an internal item or not.

3) Was someone looking for a Triviathlon? Scribe? I have an extra copy so if you want it pm me your address. I also have extra copies of the History Channel/30th Anniversary Sweepstapes for anyone who wants one.

Terrific job on the catalogs.

I have no way to verify that, but it has been the general assumption so far.

I concur with Mike on both points. I have only heard of employees passing along the 20th Anniversary books. And I have not seen the Worlds of TSR book. As I have a thing for Leonardi looking things AND D&D things, I would not have missed that item before.

I have a copy of the Worlds of TSR book. I find it particularly interesting that is was produced in 1996 and to me has the feel of a document created to start looking for a buyer for the company. It hypes all of TSR’s brands one by one and then lists the grand accomplishments of the company. My copy came from an internal source at WOTC.

Cheers,
Curt

It is an interesting book in that it doesn't list any products so it doesn't appear to much retail application. The other alternative is that it could have been given to employees or new employees so they know what the product lines are.
