I'm very intrigued by the white base on this version. I haven't seen it before. Also, I believe the light writing in pencil on the back of the box might have been added during production to keep the boxes separated by type. (In this case, white base, purple sword.) Of course, that's just conjecture unless someone knows for sure.
Also, I wanted to add this to the official Pandora's Dice Wheel listing, but wasn't sure if there was a process for the site to host images. (Perhaps this is listed in a FAQ that I haven't read yet--my apologies if this is so.) I wouldn't mind including all of these images, since together the give a nice overview of the full package.

You are problem right on the writing on the box - not sure what else it would be. Nice looking wheel too. Does you sheet of Instructions and Care have the "Critical Chart" and "Fumble Chart" on the back?

Yes, on further examination, it does have the Fumble/Critical on the back...
