I have removed it from the RPGA section. It nowhere shows the RPGA label so what. Have we prove that it was only sold to RPGA members? I bet it was also available at the Mail Order Hobby Shop. I also wonder why they printed "TSR, USA" at the label when it was produced in UK?
Any info would be appreciated. Oh and a scan of the errata, too. _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.
I am trying to remember how this was offered. I know for sure it was offered up at a UK convention. Then it was offered via mail order to the UK RPGA members. After that it might have been offered via Dragon Magazine/Dungeon Hobby Shop mail order but I cannot be sure.

I think Frank Mentzer mentioned that it was Don Turnbull who had these made for the RPGA in the UK. At some point Don asked Frank if he would like some to sell in the US. Frank said sure and Don sent him something like a thousand of them. Frank said they didn't sell well. Not sure what ever happened to them. Want me to ask Frank?

Here is the info from Frank:
-The Fighting Wheel was Don Turnbull's idea. Made in the UK.
-if Frank remembers correctly 1000 were made
-It was originally only available to RPGA members but later was offered to the general public via the Dungeon/Mail Order Hobby Shop to try and unload them.
Obviously it didn't sell well in the US. You hardly ever see them in US auctions.
Is Don Turnbull still alive? If he is that would be the best source of info.

Unfortunatly, Don Turnbull passed away in 2003. Anyway, this is valuable information. Many thanks to you for researching this question and thanks to Frank Mentzer for providing the information. I will update the Fighting Wheel page accordingly within the next few days. _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.
OK, page is updated according to the new/confirmed information. Thanks for the research. Anyone can send in a scan of the errata sheet? Mine does not have it.
Thanks! _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.
