The Tome of Treasures Rating:

Meredith drops the unwilling Jasmine off on Toril, right into the deadly Mere of Dead Men. Jasmine is attacked by a monstrous Bichir, but saved by Elminster who happens to be on the scene ... Elminster tells Jasmine, that the woman known as "Meredith" is interfering with the cosmic balance and they, Elminster and Jasmine, must travel the time stream backwards to find out about Meredith's weaknesses. They travel back into the past, when Meredith was known as Nimone and she and her son Bors travelled Wildspace as Pirates and Thieves. The story switches and shows Bors intruding a temple and robbing their gems. Before he can get away, he is stopped by the powerful Kourus and defeated in a magical duel. Kourus lets him get away, because Bors learned his lesson. Bors escapes on board his mother's Nautiloid ship. Meredith and Bors end up in the Sea of lost ships. (Ralf Toth)

Conclusion: The part about Meredith and Bors is nice stuff, but Kraar should have left out Elminster.
