"PROVIDES THE DUNGEON MASTER WITH GODS, HEROES AND MONSTERS FROM MYTH, FICTION AND LEGEND FOR USE IN ROUNDING OUT AN ADVANCED D&D CAMPAIGN. WITHIN THIS BOOK ARE SEVENTEEN PANTHEONS OF DIVINITIES, EACH PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED. ALSO INCLUDED ARE NEW MATERIAL ON CLERICS' CONDUCT AND THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THEIR DEITIES, INFORMATION ON CHARACTER MORTALITY AND IMMORTALITY, AND MORE!"

1st and 2nd Printing: The logo shows the TSR wizard logo. The Cthulhu/Melnibonean mythoi are present, the book has 144 pages. The distinctive feature between first and second printing is that the 2nd printing has a credit to Chaosium Inc. while the 1st has not.

(see picture on top of page)

3rd Printing: The logo shows the TSR wizard logo. A 3rd print is identified as the Cthulhu/Melnibonean mythoi are missing and thus there are only 15 mythoi present, but the text on the back cover still mentions 17 mythoi. The book now only has 128 pages. The copyright credit to Chaosium remains.

4th and 5th Printing: The logo now shows the TSR "Old Man" logo. A 4th print is identified as the Cthulhu/Melnibonean mythoi are missing and thus there are only 15 mythoi present, and the text on the back cover now mentions only 15 mythoi (see transcript below). The book now only has 128 pages. The difference between fourth and fifth printing is the copyright credit to Chaosium remains in the 4th printing and has been removed in the fifth.
